How Many Boxes Do I Need?
- Measure your space: Use a tape measure to find the length and width of your area in feet (e.g., 8 ft × 10 ft).
- Find your square footage: Multiply the length by the width to get your total square footage.
- Calculate your boxes: Divide your total square footage by 17.22, then round up to the next whole number.
- Your Room Size: 9 feet wide × 12 feet long
- Total Square Footage: 9 × 12 = 108 sqft
- The Math: 108 ÷ 17.22 = 6.27
- Your Order: Rounding up 6.27 means you will need 6-7 boxes in total.
*To ensure a beautiful, seamless look without the hassle of cutting tiles, our calculations are based on full-tile dimensions. You may decrease the number of boxes if you don't need 100% coverage of the space.
