Our premium carpet tiles measure 15.7" × 15.7" (40cm × 40cm).
One box covers 17.22 sq. ft. (1.6 m²).

Measure your space: Use a tape measure to find the length and width of your area in feet (e.g., 8 ft × 10 ft).

Find your square footage: Multiply the length by the width to get your total square footage.

Calculate your boxes: Divide your total square footage by 17.22, then round up to the next whole number.

Example:

• Your Room Size: 9 feet wide × 12 feet long
• Total Square Footage: 9 × 12 = 108 sqft
• The Math: 108 ÷ 17.22 = 6.27
• Your Order: Rounding up 6.27 means you will need 6-7 boxes in total.

*To ensure a beautiful, seamless look without the hassle of cutting tiles, our calculations are based on full-tile dimensions. You may decrease the number of boxes if you don't need 100% coverage of the space. 

Unlike a traditional rug, TOEBEAN is modular carpets with TOEBASE™ backing. You can build the exact area you want, rearrange the layout, remove individual tiles for cleaning, replace a single tile when needed, and take your setup with you when you move.

TOEBASE™ is TOEBEAN's engineered backing system. It is designed to provide grip between the carpet tile and the floor through surface friction and static attraction, helping each tile stay in place during everyday use without relying on adhesive tape or glue to attach it to the floor.

TOEBEAN uses TOEBASE™ to create a high-grip connection with the floor. The backing is designed to stay in place through friction and static attraction rather than being permanently adhered to the floor.

This means you can lift, reposition, or replace individual tiles without dealing with sticky residue. Perfect for renters and urban apartment living!

TOEBEAN is designed to provide a secure surface for everyday movement, including running, turning, and those unexpected zoomies.

For best performance, install the tiles on a clean, dry, smooth, hard surface and make sure the floor is free of dust, dirt, oil, and debris before installation.

TOEBEAN is designed for use on common smooth, hard flooring surfaces such as hardwood, tile, vinyl, and laminate. TOEBEAN does not use adhesive tape or glue to attach the tiles to your floor, so there is no sticky adhesive residue left behind.

However, flooring materials and finishes can vary. We recommend making sure the floor is clean and fully cured before installation and testing a tile in an inconspicuous area if you're unsure about compatibility.

Yes. You don't need to cover an entire room.

TOEBEAN can be placed wherever you want additional carpet coverage or help with paw traction, such as hallways, beside the bed, around the sofa, or other areas where your pet spends a lot of time.

Yes. That's one of the benefits of a modular system.

Because TOEBEAN isn't permanently glued to the floor, individual tiles can be lifted and rearranged or taken with you when you move. Just peel off the carpet, pack it back into our box and bring it with you!

Installation is simple:

1. Clean your floor
Vacuum & mop to remove dust, dirt, oil, and debris. Make sure the floor is completely dry.

2. Plan your layout
Keep the protective film on first. This will make your arrangement so much easier! Decide where you want your tiles and how you want them arranged.

3. Remove the protective film
Peel off the protective film from the TOEBASE™ backing when you're ready to install.

4. Place the tiles
Position each tile directly on the floor and press it down firmly.

5. Build your space
Continue adding tiles until you've created the area you want.

*No glue or carpet tape is required.

Yes. That's one of the main benefits of TOEBEAN.

You can lift individual tiles, reposition them, change your layout, or add additional tiles as your needs change.

For spills, first use a clean cloth to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. The sooner you blot the spill, the easier it is to clean.

TOEBEAN features a dual-treated, stain-resistant carpet surface designed to make everyday messes easier to clean. For most dirt and spills, simply lift the affected tile and rinse the carpet surface with clean water. In many cases, ordinary dirt can be easily washed away without using any cleaning products. No detergent is needed for most everyday messes.

For stronger odors or more stubborn stains, you may use a mild, neutral-pH detergent diluted with water. Gently clean the affected area and rinse thoroughly with clean water afterward.

*Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, abrasive cleaners, or excessive soaking.
*Hand wash only, No machine washing. *Excessive water soaking can affect the backing and bonding materials.

After rinsing, gently squeeze or press out excess water without twisting or wringing the tile.

Lay the tile flat with the carpet surface facing up in a well-ventilated area and allow it to air dry completely. Alternatively, you can hang the tile using clothespins in a shaded, well-ventilated area to help speed up drying.

Avoid direct sunlight and high heat, as prolonged exposure to heat may damage or affect the carpet and TOEBASE™ backing.

Make sure both the carpet surface and TOEBASE™ backing are completely dry before placing the tile back on your floor.

*Avoid using high heat, such as a dryer, heater, or direct high-temperature airflow.

Keep it on until you're ready to install.

The film protects the TOEBASE™ backing during storage and shipping. Remove it immediately before placing the tile on the floor.

This is especially important if you're still deciding whether to keep your order, because removing the protective film may affect return eligibility.

*After installation, you can save the protective films and store them in the original box. We recommend keeping them in case you move or need to store your TOEBEAN tiles in the future.

We currently ship within the United States.

We offer free standard shipping within the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii are available for an additional shipping charge.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and U.S. federal holidays.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Standard delivery is estimated at approximately 3–7 business days after shipment.

Please note that this estimate does not include order processing time and delivery times can vary.

Please take photos of the package and product before discarding the packaging, then contact us as soon as possible at hello@toebeancarpet.com with your order number and photos.

We accept eligible returns within 15 days of receiving your order.

Returned products must be new, unused, and in resalable condition. Tiles that have been installed, used, washed, damaged, or contaminated with pet hair, dirt, stains, or other signs of use may not qualify for a full refund. Conditions applies, read full return policy here

We allow cancellation of the order within 15 minutes when the order is placed. We process orders as quickly as possible, so please contact us at hello@toebeancarpet.com as soon as possible if you need to make a change or cancellation.

We cannot guarantee changes or cancellations once an order has entered processing or shipped.
